Fantastic location right in the heart of Álora. Everything is within easy walking distance, with plenty of bars, restaurants and local shops just around the corner. The train station is also nearby, making it really easy to get around without a car.
It’s also a great base for visiting the Caminito del Rey. A lovely place to stay if you want to experience a real Andalusian town rather than a tourist resort.

Hemos pasado unos días en CASABELLA y la experiencia ha sido genial. La casa es antigua pero reformada y decorada muy bonita y nuestra habitación tenía todas las comodidades. El trato con Emilia fantástico! Muy recomendable para hacer el Caminito del Rey o recorrer las pintorescas calles de Alora.

Hemos pasado una estancia estupenda en CASABELLA, la tipica casa señorial andaluza pero con un toque muy hogareño y original. La casa esta en el centro del pueblo asi que muy cerquita tienes tiendas y bares.
Emilia, la anfitriona es un encanto, nos ha recomendado tanto cosas que ver en el pueblo como los mejores sitios para comer.
En general a sido una una escapada en un pueblo con encanto, en una casa espectacular y con una anfitriona inmejorable. Sin duda, volveremos!

We had such a lovely stay at Emilia’s beautiful home in Álora. The house has a really quirky, authentic charm and immediately made both me and my friend feel at home.
The location was fantastic, with the plaza just a short walk away and plenty of lovely local restaurants nearby. The castle was also within easy reach and was definitely worth visiting — the 360° views were incredible, both during the day and at night.
Emilia was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make our stay special. She gave us great advice and recommendations for travelling to Málaga, provided us with beach towels, and even took us to La Sede a short walk away where we enjoyed some amazing aged cheese, wine and cured meats.
We really appreciated Emilia’s warmth and local knowledge, which made the whole experience feel much more personal than just staying somewhere. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely love to return again. Highly recommended!

I spent a lovely few days up in Álora on a short trip with my mum. Casabella is beautifully decorated, quaint, quirky and comfortable. Emilia was very attentive and took good care of us, providing beach towels, lovely coffee, information about the trains, buses, and places to eat and drink in Álora. There were lovely restaurants, bars, shops and ice cream places to enjoy, and the pricing was great everywhere we went in Álora. The scenery was beautiful and the town itself was buzzing. At only 40 minutes from Málaga, it’s a perfect place for a few days of relaxing by the local pool, hiking, enjoying the local festivities, and eating and drinking, with bus and train services close by to take you further afield if you wish. Muchas gracias Emilia, ¡vamos a volver!

Thank you CASABELLA for such a lovely stay. Our room was beautiful and the house is right in the centre of town a few steps from bars, restaurants, shops. Alora train station is closed by and has regular services to Malaga and only takes half an hour. It offers service to Sevilla too which we will go in our next visit. Thanks Kevin and Emilia, we will come back. Also your tips for exploring Malaga were brilliant!
